If you are already a South Australian Seniors Card member and wish to replace a lost, stolen or damaged card, phone the South Australian Seniors Card Unit on 1800 819 961 (freecall Australia wide) or email seniorscard@sa.gov.au

Eligibility

Refer to the eligibility criteria. Applications will be accepted one week prior to your 60th birthday.

  • I confirm that I am 60 years of age or older, a permanent resident of South Australia and do not work more than 20 hours per week in paid employment (or not at all).
  • I confirm that the information I supply is correct, to the best of my knowledge and I agree to advise the Seniors Card Unit if my circumstances change.

The Seniors Card is a dual-use card and is used to obtain concessions on Adelaide’s public transport ticketing system. If you do not tick this box, you will not be able to access the Adelaide Metro website to manage your Seniors Card as a metrocard for public transport.

The Seniors Card program collects and uses your personal information for the purpose of administering the program. This includes mailing your Seniors Card, providing you with free and discounted public transport services, government information and special offers from participating businesses. To enable us to perform these functions, we utilise some external service providers including a mail house and we may disclose information to these service providers under strict security rules, so they can carry out the services we have contracted to them. We may provide your information to other Government agencies that provide services to members. We may also disclose personal information with your consent, or if required or authorised by law. The Seniors Card program requires its contractors to treat your personal information confidentially and in accordance with the South Australian Information Privacy Principles (IPPS) Instruction. The Seniors Card program does not endorse or guarantee the quality or suitability of any goods or services offered by participating businesses. Please make your own evaluation of each product. The Seniors Card program does not provide your personal information to participating businesses.
